Do you ever buy items from eBay? This is a great place to save money on all types of products. My latest purchase was an Apple Time Capsule. I know a lot of people are afraid to buy on eBay, but I thought that I would ease your concerns by explaining the eBay Buyer Protection Policy.
The eBay Buyer Protection Program protects buyers in the event that eBay sellers don't send you the product you ordered or if they send you a product that does not meet the description of the auction. Additionally, eBay has customer service representatives that you can call and talk or email to get help in the event of fraud.
When I first used eBay this was my biggest concern. In fact, the fear of fraud stopped me from buying many items at first. But, now the eBay Buyer Protection Program really alleviates my concerns. However, there are still things you need to do to protect yourself.
First, you need to make sure that you read the auction description very carefully. If seller is honest about the product, but you mistakenly believe that the product is something else, you might not be protected.
Also, you have to make sure that the product you are buying is covered. For example, cars or other items that are, or should be listed on eBay Motors, are not covered by eBay Buyer Protection. But, there are other protections you can avail yourself of.
I encourage you to check out the actual eBay Buyer Protection Policy. So for you next purchase, look to see if there are any deals to be had on eBay.

I am a happy eBay customer, both as a buyer and as a seller. I have saved a ton of money on new items and hard to find items. I have done almost 200 transactions, and in only one case did I have a problem.
Recently, I needed some very heavy battery cable. The local electrical shop quoted me $5 a foot. I got the same thing on eBay for $2. Yeah, I’m a happy eBayer, and the buyer protection is great.
It is amazing the breadth of products that you can find on eBay. I think that sometimes we just forget to look there. Who would have guessed that you can find heavy battery cables on eBay?
