The Internet is one of the best places to find free entertainment. Today, I wanted tell you about a great website I found for free downloadable audiobooks - ThoughtAudio.com.
I love audiobooks. They are one of the best ways to read more books. I used to subscribe to Audible.com, but canceled my subscription this year to cut down on my expenses. But, with Thoughtaudio.com you can find some great free audiobooks.
The audiobooks on ThoughtAudio.com seems to be books that are no longer under copyright protection, but man, you can find some great classics to listen to, like
- The Prince by Machiavelli
- Call of the Wild by Jack London
- Red Badge of Courage by Stephen Crane
- The Apology of Socrates by Plato
These are just a few of the free downloadable audiobooks available at ThoughtAudio.com. I hope you enjoy this site.

I was never a big fan of audiobooks until life got really busy. On average I would read at least on “traditional” book a week. But now I listen to audios in my truck. I probably get through another 10 books a year this way that I wouldn’t otherwise fit in.
Don Quixote and 1984 have my votes for best audios of all time.
Josh,
Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. I think that I get to read another 10 books a year too because of audiobooks. I am currently listening to Outliers and the New Testament. Audiobooks make my commute to work much more enjoyable.
