Well, this post was supposed to come out on Friday, but I am still getting used to my blogging schedule. Every Friday I will be writing a recap of some of the best personal finance content I uncovered that week.
This Week On The Debt Hawk
I am pretty pleased with the first week of launching The Debt Hawk. I would love for you to read my articles from last week. Better yet, leave a comment to share your thoughts about the topics.
This Week In Personal Finance Around The Net
In addition to providing a recap of what took place this week on The Debt Hawk, I want to send some link love to some of the best personal finance articles that I uncovered this week. I highly recommend that you read these personal finance articles.
Free From Broke wrote a great article on why your credit score matters - Credit Scores Matter More Than You Think. A lot of times us debt hawks neglect our credit scores because we don't think the score matter because we don't plan on taking out more loans anyways. However, as Free From Broke Highlights your credit score is used for a lot of things.
Mrs. Micah from Finance For A Freelance Life wrote a must read article on the benefits of taking out third party student loans - Diploma Withheld - Why Student Loans Beat Owing The School Directly.
No Debt Plan warns about why taxes are going to have to go up - Taxes Must Go Up Eventually. I sure hope that he is wrong. The best way to pay off our national debt is to cut taxes and spur economic growth which time and again raises tax revenue.
My Two Dollars wrote a interesting post about a trick to help you to reduce spending - How Many Hours Do You Work To Pay For Your Stuff. I love these little tricks people use to help them to reduce spending.
J.D. Roth from Get Rich Slowly provided links to some very useful personal spreadsheets from Google Docs - Free Financial Spreadsheets From Google Docs. I really stick at Excel so these premade templates are really going to help me out.
I hope that you enjoy the above links. If any personal finance bloggers are reading this, I am always interested in linking to great articles. If you write anything that you want to share with me and the readers of The Debt Hawk, please don't hesitate to email me at mark @ thedebthawk [dot] com.

Thanks for the mention! I’d love to take full credit for the article but it was actually a guest post from Jim at Bargaineering.
